It was love at first sight for me but since we owned a female malamute at the time I had to remind my wife that she had told me that she "would like to have a small dog someday." Ginger is now my wife's constant companion. Although she can be quite a princess she regularly treks in the woods through the mud and the streams and never met a mud puddle that she didn't like! "
